As per the directions issued by the Additional Chief Health Secretary, Government of Maharashtra, and the circular of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, we must follow the under mentioned guidelines for the prevention of infection of influenza.
Students showing flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, running nose and difficulty in breathing) should stay at home until they recover completely.
Remind children to cover their mouth with a tissue while coughing or sneezing. The tissue must be thrown after use.
Encourage children to wash their hands with soap when they cough or sneeze. Alcohol based cleaners are also effective.
Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth frequently. Germs spread in this way.
Try to avoid crowded places and people with respiratory illness.
